Sham Maharaj

My name is Tapan, and on behalf of Winston Hills Cricket Club, we’re raising funds to help support Sham, a Life Member of WHCC, who recently suffered a brain injury.

Sham has been proactive is the development of grassroots cricket in Winston Hills, running Cricket Blast on Friday nights.

Last week, Sham was skiing. Something he’s loved doing when he’s not playing or coaching cricket. This trip however, he almost didn’t make it home. A fall on the slopes has left him with bleeding in the brain. He needs weeks of rehabilitation. Unable to work (he’s a contractor), and bills piling up, I’m hoping the community can give back.
