Shamere Gentles - Jesiah

It is with great sadness to announce the tragic and sudden passing of Shamere Gentles in early April. To anyone and everyone that interacted with Shamere, whether at work or outside the office, he was a kind, fun-loving and joyous individual (just to name a few of his great traits).
He was hard working and very passionate in his endeavors but, without a doubt, he was proudest and most excited when it came to his kids. Every time he spoke about Mya and Jesiah, he would immediately glow in joy and beamed in excitement. They meant the world to him (and vice-versa) and he wholeheartedly devoted himself to them.
This unfortunate situation is very disheartening on many levels and the COVID situation has only added further challenges – but our collective thoughts and prayers go out to his family and especially his children.
In an effort to help and show support for Shamere and his kids, these individual GoFundMe pages have been set-up for Mya (see link below) and Jesiah (this page) respectively. Any donation is very much appreciated and the funds will help towards their future needs and the various programs they’ve enrolled/enrolling in.

- Jesiah is 11-years old and, some might say, is a near reflective image of Shamere. He’s highly talented and athletic – with tremendous skills on the volleyball and basketball court. Like his dad, Sports, fashion and sneakers are his passion. With the sudden loss of his father, his life has forever changed and many of his usual surroundings/lifestyle has been uprooted. Shamere had very high aspirations and hopes of getting Jesiah into programs and offerings to further his personal growth and academic development. Like every father/parent, Shamere only wanted the best for his kids and have them thrive and be successful in life.
Any help you can spare in supporting Jesiah (and Mya in the separate link) in this very difficult time is tremendously appreciated.
