May 2nd 2023 will forever be a date in our hearts that we wish we could forget. This week our mum was diagnosed with the debilitating, cruel disease that is MND! Our hearts break and we are struggling to comprehend how this is happening all over again (we lost our Auntie - mums sister just 4 years ago from this same disease) we will continue to do everything we can to support MND Australia and all the amazing work they do. Anyone that knows mum will agree she has a kind soul, the kind that would do anything to help others and will always support her family like nothing else! From volunteering at sporting events growing up to caring for her community as a social worker for 25+ years, all whilst raising 4 girls on her own. To see her going through this is beyond fathomable. For those friends and family asking what you can do to help… this is it! It’s one small way we can help to cover some of the medical bills, multiple appointments and support that will be needed. We sincerely thank you all that have already offered your support, time and a listening ear, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you! Let’s fight this “beast”!
