Shana Beckley Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Shana Beckley had a liver transplant surgery on Oct. 4, 2023 after receiving the call that she had a match but had to get there immediately. They had to leave for New Orleans and the family arrived about midnight and Shana had an 8 hour surgery starting at 4:30 that morning. She did great for 4 days and then post op day 4 she had her first complication surgery. Things were getting better and then post op day 7 she had to have a second complication surgery. When they are finally discharged, Shana will have to leave the hospital and stay in an apartment right beside the hospital for 6 weeks to be close in case of any emergency. There has to be a caregiver with her 24/7 (like a family member) and the family is in the process of trying to rearrange schedules and get kids where they need to go for one of them to be with her at all times. She will not be able to work the whole time she’s is there and life can be very expensive. Gas, food, daily needs are the last thing we want her to worry about while trying to recover.
***Update -Oct 16- Bloodwork looks better today! Shana starts her 3rd round of rejection meds (which are working well) but its a 6 hour process and the first 2 hours are rough on her so please continue to pray that she can relax and continue to accept these treatments with no complications.
GOD IS SO AWESOME!!!
Please consider donating to help cover some of the expenses that are going to come along with the days of recovery ahead that Shana is facing.
For easier and direct access to Shana and family — her Venmo is @Beckleyyyy_23
