Shandra finish her education at Howard University

Hi, my name is Shandra Rogers. I am a pre-law political science major with a minor in media journalism at Howard university. Despite my FASFA reflecting my being an unaccompanied youth, I was not offered adequate aid to pay my tuition. I have worked tirelessly and taken out loans to help finance my education myself, but there is still a gap. Without paying this money I will not be able to continue my education at Howard in 2023. My education is extremely important to me as my great-grandmother was the director of the first black operated and owned private school in Harlem, NY. Upon her passing, I promised myself that I would push through my education to make her proud. It would mean everything to me if you could donate so that I can be one step closer to bringing equity for marginalized individuals through policy and political education and so that I can fulfill the promise of breaking through generational curses through education and commitment to my matriarchal lineage.
