Shane and Beulah Smith Expenses

On Friday, November 3rd, everyone’s friend and protector, Shane Smith, experienced massive heart failure. After 14 shocks from his pacemaker, one shock from an AED, and a transfer Shane finds himself at St. David’s Heart Hospital in Austin, TX fighting for his life.

Right now the future is unclear. The best case is a slow, pain free and absurdly expensive recovery. He is currently being kept alive by a small heart pump called an Impella and a very extensive surgery (LVAC placement) must happen in the next six days. Our goal is a heart transplant in the future.

Shane is a husband to a loving wife. He is also a father of 4 awesome kids. He is their rock but after this weekend he and his family are going to need some help.
