Shane Callahan’s Recovery!!

On Saturday, (10/7) Shane was involved in a terrible car accident that happened at around 11:00am. Shane was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center and had surgery later that night on his spine. He suffered a spinal cord injury and is currently in the ICU working hard to recover!! It will be a day-by-day, week-by-week process in his recovery, and Shane has a very long road ahead of him. His family and friends are heart broken about what has happened, but are optimistic about his future. If anyone knows Shane, he is always the kindest, most hard working person in the room and no one ever thought this kind of thing would happen to him. For those who don’t know Shane, he’s 20 years old and is currently a nursing major at St. Francis University. He is going to work hard through physical therapy and recovery to come back stronger than ever!! We are asking for help with medical expenses that are a part of his care and long term well-being, and would truly appreciate any and all donations so so much. We ask that you please pray for Shane, and to wish him well as he goes through this new chapter.
