Shane & Janet Cochran Family Support ❤️
Donation protected
Hello, friends and family. This is Janet, providing a quick update.
First and foremost, thank you all for your generous contributions. From the bottom of my heart, it means so much to have the help and support that you’ve offered our family during our time of need.
Because of you and a small insurance payout, we’ll be able to cover the following expenses:
- Paying off the debt on our land
- Paying off Shane’s truck, which the children will eventually inherit
- Taking care of some overdue improvements to our property
This is a huge weight off my shoulder, and I am finally starting to plan for our future as a family of three.
We’re now well into the new year, and I’m once again asking for your support. We have a small nest egg, and we’re so grateful for that. Additional support will be immensely helpful as I transition back into my own career while also being the sole caretaker for Shyla-Jane and Samuel.
No amount is too small. And once again, we truly appreciate your support during this difficult transition.
❤️

[December 2022]
Hi, my name is Cindy Cochran. I am fundraising for my sweet son, Shane Cochran, who was in a tragic motorcycle accident right before Thanksgiving.
He leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Janet, and two beautiful children, Shyla-Jane (8) and Samuel (2). They were junior high sweethearts and partners for 30 years in total.
Shane was a loving family man who dedicated himself to his adoring wife and children, who were his greatest joy! He was a faithful provider and gave his family enough love to last a lifetime.
Shane was a skilled and respected professional in drywall repair and painting. His reputation preceded him as a man of integrity in every area of his life. He was a hard worker who took pride in all his projects in business and in his home, where he gave us all security, knowing we could trust him.
Shane provided all of the family's financial needs, affording Janet the blessing of being home with her children. This was always their goal and will remain so. Our prayer is the opportunity to pay off and keep what Shane left for his children.
The accident was completely unexpected, and Shane was not at fault. Unfortunately, he did not have life or medical insurance.
I'm hosting this fundraiser to ensure Janet and her children can handle medical and funeral expenses and that they'll have a cushion as they transition to this new chapter of life.
No amount is too small. We truly appreciate your support during this extremely difficult time.
