Shane Eric James Smith Memorial Fund

The Smith family tragically lost their son and brother, Shane, on June 6, 2020, when he was murdered in Calgary, AB. Shane’s murderer has been arrested, but Shane has not yet been found, and his family has not been able to say goodbye. The heartbreaking search for Shane continues daily. 

This fund has been created as a way for us all to help the Smith family with expenses that continue to mount during the investigation, as well as with the cost of a memorial. Shane was a dear friend to many, and touched countless lives. So many people have been affected by Shane’s murder. We hope that this gives us a way to come together and help the Smith family during this heartbreaking time.
