Shane Martin, young father with pancreatic cancer
Donation protected
Shane Martin is a 43 year old dedicated father and loving husband, brother and son. You look at Shane and smile instantly back at him! His smiles radiates a room.
He loves teaching for Acushnet Public Schools for over 20 years. He is an absolute favorite among students and parents. His positive attitude and kindness always shines through. Shane has a very strong faith, and is very active in his church. His family is the most important thing in his life.
Shane is currently under the care of an amazing surgeon and team of doctors at Mass General Hospital for pancreatic cancer. He will begin chemo therapy, followed by radiation and then undergo surgery. This will be a long process, but will give him the very best fighting chance.
Throughout all of this, he will be unable to work and his medical bills will accumulate.
We want Shane to focus 100% on his health and not have to worry about financial burdens. Any donation would be greatly appreciated but never expected. Prayers and positive thoughts are more than welcome as well.
We believe that words of kindness also go a long way. If you feel like writing a beautiful note to him of encouragement - you can mail them to his sister Tanji Cifuni 99 Loring Road Winthrop Ma 02152 or email her at [email redacted] and she will share all of them with Shane.
God is good and we know that Shane is being touched by him throughout all of this.
