Shane McCleave

*** update**** It is with a heavy heart that I announce my father, Shane McCleave had taken his last breathe on 3/20/24 at 2:06 pm.

Hello, my name is Amber. I am one of five of Shane’s children. My dad was diagnosed last spring with terminal liver cancer ( hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangioncarcinoma) and cancer of the bile ducts. After his Diagnosis my mom had fallen at work and needed a hip replacement. She then had been taking care of my father and works one to maybe two days a week. Thus making it hard to save for his cremation and burial expenses. My father has not yet passed but we fear it may be imminent and are just preparing for when the time comes. Unfortunately, the funeral homes do not take payment plans and we are trying to help carry out his final wishes.

My father Shane is a proud father and papa. He loves his family and his dogs. I almost feel like he loved his dogs more than he loved his children at times. He enjoyed riding his Harley and tinkering on cars. When I was younger he liked to race cars. I remember going to the races with him. My father has a presence about him that draws people in. He would talk to everyone and anyone and make a life long friend out of a complete stranger. At 54 years old it almost seems unfair to be taken from this world. There is so many things he never experienced. I know he is grateful for the time he had and is ready to go home. Which I fear is imminent. I will update on his passing when the time comes.

I am usually to proud to ask for any type of charity and was hesitant to make this go fund me until I had a few loved ones urge me to do so. Any donations would be appreciated if able to do so. The funds will go towards his cremation, plot and burial service. Thank you for your support.
