Shane Shepard and family needs your support

Donation protected
Hi my name is Lisa and I am Shane's Godmom. We are asking in need of your prayers and support. Shane received his heart transplant 3 years ago and this past Thursday Shane had to call 911 and was life flighted to Sutter Roseville hospital where he coded five times as he fought for his life and the doctors gave us no hope.
His mom and family kept fighting for him and contacted his transplant team at Stanford which said put him on the heart ecmo machine. They then sent a team from Standford to life flight Shane to his transplant team at Standford University hospital Thursday night. He has gone through getting three stints put into his cardiovascular veins and has had an issue with his right leg as the blood flow was cutoff for several hours causing damage. He has been put on dialysis as his kidneys and liver are struggling due to all the trauma. He also has ten cracked ribs from all the CPR. The GREAT news is that the neuro team says his brain is fine and yesterday he kicked his mom after she tickled his foot which he hates. His heart is not in rejection which his huge!! The pulse has come back in his foot and ankle.

As of today, Sunday, Shane has overcome so much in the past four days, yet he has a minimum of a month and most likely more to recovery from all the trauma he has endured. He has a long journey ahead of him. He and his family are working to help him keep his bills paid and cover expenses at they stay with him at Stanford and also help cover medical bills that insurance does not cover.

We thank everyone for the amazing prayers that you have been sending since this trauma started. We know that prayers work.

All help would be greatly appreciated!!
