Shane's Ear Surgery

Shane is your typical playful little 6-yr old boy. Shane suffered from chronic ear infections the first year of his life. Shortly after turning one, ear tubes were surgically placed in both ears and stayed there for the next 4 years. After the tubes finally fell out, we were told the holes in his ear drums caused by the tubes would close on there own. Well after months of follow-up appointments, the hole in his left ear did not close and now needs to be surgically repaired or risk losing his hearing and continued infections and pain. The surgeon and surgery center are requesting nearly $5 thousand dollars up front before they will even proceed with the procedure. Meanwhile my once playful little boy suffers with periods of copious drainage, swelling, infections, and severe pain that no child should ever have to go through.
