Shania Kelis Green funeral and memorial.

Hello my name is Sade Long, I am the aunt of Shania Green who I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of. Shania was shot and killed on December 29th 2023 from a stray bullet(s) while enjoying herself at a house party down the road from her home in Gwinnett County.

Our beloved Shania Green recently passed tragically. Shania was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter and niece who touched the lives of everyone around her. She was known for her beautiful infectous smile and her laughter. She had such a positive energy that she brought everywhere she went. On most days you could find her lovingly taking care of her 7 month old son or spending time with family. Shania just turned 18 years old last month in November. She was just figuring out who she was as a young lady and as a new mother, navigating life with grace, compassion and kindness.

On December 29th 2023 as any new mother, Shania was excited to finally get to go out and hang out for a little. While enjoying a night out at a house party, multiple shots were fired from outside of the house hitting Shania from inside of the house and taking her life. As of right now, police are still searching for the suspect or suspects.

While our family awaits for what's next to come, we are trying to prepare for what we know will need to be done next. Shania's sudden passing meant that there were no preparations made ahead of time. We are asking for donations to cover the costs associated with her service and burial so that her mother and siblings can grieve without the added stress of an additional financial burden. No amount is too little! Any amount is appreciated. Please keep our family in your prayers for this is just the beginning of a long healing road.

Shania has truly left an impact on every one she has met. Her glowing personality and respectful manner has left so many people hurting and mourning for such an amazing soul. Thank you for taking out the time to read and respond in any way.
