Shaniyah and Millianni (stop gun violence)

Hi my name is Adrienne and I am single mother of three that has tragically lost two children to gun violence within the last eight years. Shaniyah Rodriguez was wounded by a gun on February 2, 2023 which resulted in her passing away on February 4, 2023. Shaniyah was 8 months pregnant however, her baby (my granddaughter) survived and she is currently in critical condition. Shaniyah was my second child that has lost her life due to senseless gun violence. My first born Nizzear Rodriguez was fatally shot on his 13th birthday 8 years ago while he was sleeping. My heart aches, my soul hurts, and I feel as if though world has been flipped upside down. I don’t even know whether I am coming or going but I do know that my granddaughter needs my love, strength, and support to stay alive. I use to think that the young generation would bury the old generation but on the contrary, my children are not the prodigy of my past thoughts. My newborn granddaughter will require extensive 24 hour care due to the injures she sustained to her brain. I am humbly asking for prayers and financial assistance to ensure my granddaughter continues to receive the proper medical treatment now and in the future. In addition, I am also requesting financial assistance for a memorial service for my daughter Shaniyah.
