The King Family

Hi, my name is Shannon Sunshine King. I am the daughter of the most beautiful angel on this earth and now in heaven, my mom, my best friend Carman Lane King, her spirit and her love lives in everyone she ever came across. Her goal has always been to make an everlasting impression, one of hope, love, kindness, joy, & excitement. My mom's passions always circle around community, whether it be classic car shows, craft fairs, collaborating with the school, churches, scouts and other youth groups, she has always wanted to make an impact on the lives she touched. She gave herself even when there was little left to give. Her faith in people and the comfort she found from meeting strangers and creating a moment with them that they would look back on and remember fondly, that was her way, her random acts of kindness! I struggle asking for help for myself but I want my dad to feel secure, and want to find a way to give back to him, to build him up, to show him the outpouring of love and community that my mother created. I know that this would be her final act, to love him, to take care of him, to ensure that he can continue to be the best grandpa, dad and friend. Thank you again to all who loved her, thank you to those that have shared their memories, and sweet stories of my mother. She will truly be missed.
