Shannon Brady & family
Donation protected
As some of you may know Shannon was recently diagnosed with a rare disease called HLH. The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. After two bouts of the flu then Covid, Shannon went to the ER. From there she was rushed to the ICU at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Arizona, with her family by her side. Thinking this was a result of Covid, a bone marrow biopsy showed that HLH was a result of an autoimmune disease, that was unknown to Shannon. She was put on a ventilator with multi organ failure and fighting for her life. After two weeks in the ICU and not knowing if Shannon was going to pull through, she did it! She has been home for a few days now, but she has a very long road of recovery, treatments and weekly doctor appointment’s ahead of her.
Shannon’s two sisters May and Erin, their mom Stephanie, along with her Dad Dean and Stepmom Sue, have uprooted their daily life in Arizona for now, to help out with the care for Shannon.
For the last few years Shannon has been working nonstop to pay her way through College. At this time, it’s unknown when she will return to work. Hospital bills, rent, college dues are adding up and the last thing that Shannon needs is the stress of going back to work right now.
Any donation to help Shannon and her family is beyond appreciated. - Thank you!
