Shannon Eller End of Life Expenses
Donation protected
In Shannon’s exact words:
Unfortunately this email (or announcement) does not find me well. Despite rejecting the meeting invitation Death has been calendared for me from my 2nd battle with cancer. And, it turns out that Death is a gold-digging son of a b*tch. So I am asking for hospice care and end of life expenses. Please visit me at hospice or text me if visiting would be too much. I’ve lost weight and my hairless skin glows beautifully, so other than the dying part, I look great. I will be accepting requests for haunting from the other side as well as messages for your loved ones who have passed for when I meet them in Heaven.
Things I am actually taking to my grave: student loan debt; all of 2010 and 2011, 90’ spring breaks; professional bull riding; and my chicken salad recipe.
UPDATE: Shannon passed on October 02, 2023 at 3:03pm. She went from the ER to hospice and passed within the week, on her terms. Shannon loved to host retirement parties, baby showers, birthdays, and decorate the office for the holidays. She loved to give; my hope is that that karma is due to come back to her now. Shannon did not want a public service, she wanted us all to memorialize her in our own way, ideally with coordinated decorations and appetizers. Any moneys raised that are above her end of life expenses will be used for her nieces' education and/or donated to Avondale United Methodist Church's Little Free Food Pantry in her name.
Here is the obituary, that she also wrote: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/jacksonville-fl/shannon-eller-11486896
