Hello Friends and Family

I have never done anything like this before, but after trying every angle we can with the hospital, and short of going bankrupt, we thought this was a better option. Several of you have reached out to me, asking about and suggesting this idea. I'm humbled by the love and compassion others have shown us. 

So in case you don't know- this summer I had Gallbladder surgery, and everything seemed to have gone well until a few days later when the pain started. Over the course of two months, I had 9 ER trips, 8 CT scans, countless x rays, 2 nuclear scans, 3 follow up surgeries, and a colonoscopy trying to figure out everything. Medical Malpractice is exactly what happened, but no one will testify to that in court. I can give you all the details about the legal end of things we tried pursuing. 

At this point, we've been told by many doctors not to attempt having any more biological children. I've also been told I will most likely develop some type of cancer from the radiation. I have adhesions, 3 ulcers, and continuing pancreatitis. The depression and PTSD I have been experiencing are something I wouldn't want anyone to go through. Just driving up Harrison is almost impossible for me now. (Where the hospital is located, for those of you not in Ogden.) I hear sirens and my heart starts to race, and my stomach drops and the panic sets in. 

All of that being said, we already had debt accrued from Eric missing work while I was in the hospital (He's paid hourly), in addition to other costs that accumulated while I was in the hospital, like diapers and groceries that wound up on the credit card since neither of us were able to work. 

We have put the goal as the number of our actual hopsital bills that have been receieved.  This does not include follow-up care, or any future fines and fees. I talk about the other debt to explain that we really are in way over our heads, but we aren't asking anyone to pay anything. We are asking for your love and prayers if you don't or cannot donate. 

Again, we aren't asking anyone to donate to this, but since several have offered, and don't want to buy furniture ;) we thought we would go ahead and make a way for others to help if they can and want to. 

Thank you for your continued love and support. Our promise to you is that we will only use these funds for hopsital bills, and we will pay it forward when and however we can.
