Shannon's Mental health expenses

Hey everyone, my name is Simon, and I am raising mental health funds for my friend Shannon. She was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and severe PTSD about two years ago and has been in an out of mental institutions such as Circles of Care and psych wards in Brevard County FL. Before these issues started to surface, Shannon was an amazing girl, full of life and creative ideas, and she was always willing to listen to someone else's struggles and offer support. Unfortunately, abuse and neglect triggered something in her beautiful mind that has gotten worse by the time I am writing this story. Shannon is still a beautiful person in every sense but today she struggles with deep depression, suicidal tendencies and manic episodes that require extensive psychological and psychiatrist treatment.

The funds that I am asking for are to cover her therapy sessions and other medical expenses that she need and that she is not able to deal with due to her inability to work at the moment. These are a combination of several treatments such as EMDR and CBT among others that are applied in a spam of several months, however, the cost for all of can be in the thousands especially since insurance does not cover many of these treatments. My goal is to try to raise as much as possible to get Shannon the help that she needs for her to have a brighter future ahead, where she has vowed to help others suffering from mental health issues as well.
