Shanya and Joao's Story

Hello, my name is Lisa; I am Joao's mother and Shayna's mother-in-law. As most of you know my son passed away suddenly on April 20, 2023. As heartbreaking as this is, I'm very worried about Shayna and her children, my granddaughters, Sariah 10, Remedy 8 and Jaeleena 1 month old. Shayna has suffered so much loss in a very short time span. This past year she lost her father, mother and grandfather-in-law all due to illness. In more recent months, Shayna has also lost her sister and a childhood friend. As you can imagine, losing both parents and a sibling is emotionally and financially straining. During this heartbreaking time, Shayna learned that she and Joao were expecting their third daughter. Although she was happy about the unexpected news, Shayna was still grieving. Then on April 3 2023 Shayna, Joao and the girls welcomed their new baby girl into their little family, both excited and ready to move on with this new chapter in life. Then just two and a half weeks later, Shayna's world crashed again with the passing of her husband, my son Joao. Joao was her ROCK. He did everything he could to help her with caring for her parents and their children. With all this being said, I am asking for you to help Shayna and my granddaughters to recover financially. Shayna needs help with funeral expenses, household bills, car maintenance, and now a newborn baby and other children needs. Anything would help, even sharing this.
