Shanyna Isom Remembrance

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Our beloved Shanyna passed away at 3:37am on 2/22 in Memphis, TN. This was by far the hardest thing we have endured as a family. Shanyna fought a long fight and was determined to live and overcome the odds. She was so used to beating her illness to the fact her passing away was unexpected. We have shared her journey for years and gave people inside look at her day-to-day fight. Shanyna story was heard around the world and featured on CNN and major news outlets worldwide. We are devastated as a whole but will continue to share Shanyna story. We will continue to talk about the medical bills that reached over a million dollars. The people with medical conditions that fought for insurance and stood up to the insurance giants.
