Share your spare (kidney)

As some of you may know, Shykim has been facing some pretty difficult health issues. Despite all he has done in his power to get healthy, his kidney function continued to decline within months resulting in end stage kidney failure which he found out as I was in the operating room on Feb 25th, him also being taken out of work, put on disability, and needing a kidney transplant. We were excited and relieved to learn on June 4th that I am a match for him. On July 9th we will be going in for his kidney transplant. I have been recovering from my previous back surgery I had and have been out of work since. This will be my 2nd surgery in just months with me needing to be out of work longer to have time to recover from this surgery as well. I have exhausted my leave and pay from work due to my own surgery. Anyone that knows Shykim and myself knows we don't usually ask for help, but given the unfortunate circumstances I am asking for assistance from family in friends if possible to help us stay afloat. Between medical bills mounting, bills, costs of medications including high blood pressure meds, costs of anti rejection medicines that will be needed post surgery, etc. No amount is too little and even if you can't contribute monetarily you can contribute by keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
