In April of 2013, my mother, Sharon Huff, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.  She has been a fighter, a trooper and a believer in our Good Lord.  Over the last few years, God is trying to make our family really strong, because we know He does not put more on us than we can handle.  She has been a single mother since I was 5 years old and has done an amazing job!  She has literally sacrificed everything for me and it is my time to try and help her.  I am sure she is not going to be happy with me for doing this fundraiser, because that is who she is.  She will not take a penny from anyone, but she needs our help.  July 29th, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and under went a double mastectomy on September 1st.  She has had several surgeries since then and still has one more to go.  Her sick time is gone due to being off for almost 2 months with the Cancer.  On Friday, February 5th, Go Red for Women day, she suffered a heart attack and was transported to Jackson by ambulance.  She was in ICU until Sunday and then put in a critical care room.  The Dr's went in Monday to do a heart cath and were unsuccessful due to 2 of the ateries being blocked.  The Dr's told us and my mother she was one lucky lady.  She is scheduled for open heart surgery on Monday, February 15, 2016 where they will do a double bypass.  She will be in ICU for a day or two following that and then will be moved to another critical care room for 4-5 days.  She will not be able to drive for 6 weeks and her full recovery will take 3 months.  She is not married, as most of you know, so she relies fully on her own income for support.  This is going to be a difficult time and the bills will not go away just because she is down.  She still has one more breast surgery to under go as well.  If you have even $1 to give to help my mother during this time, we would appreciate your love offering.  I don't want her to have to be worried about money in the midst of all of this.  God always provides for His children and I know he will continue to do so. 

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ"  Galations 6:2

I so want to carry this burden for my precious mother and make her whole again.  Thank you to all of our family and friends that have called, text, sent messages and truly showed support.  We can never thank you enough. 

I just want to give my mom some peace as she faces the next few months to a year and becomes whole again.  We appreciate any amount, monetarily or spiritually that you can provide.  We know that God has got this, and I have lived by this saying...Give it to God, for he will take your troubles away.
