Shari Peterson Assistance Fund

A few days ago my friend Shari Peterson lost her husband Chris. Chris fought a long battle with cancer and sadly lost. Due to the Pandemic Shari hasn't been able to work for the last few months which was a blessing since she could be home with Chris but also has left her without an income since she's self employed and will not be able to work for at least another month . I am asking this for her because she feels so many have already helped so much in the three years and multiple surgeries and treatments Chris went through to battle cancer. The reality is Shari is the toughest person I know and she would find work wherever she could. But no one should have to deal with that while mourning their husband. I am hoping to get her through a little while to mourn as well as cover funeral costs. Chris and Shari have been there for me for the last year and a half first when I lost my daughter in an accident then going through a diagnosis and treatment of cancer myself.
 She had to convince me to let her set up a GoFundMe for my daughter which I will forever be grateful for. It enabled me to have a Celebration of Life ceremony.  We can't do that for Chris but we can help Shari have a little peace.
