Sharing for Sharin

My name is Susan Gilpin, and I'm fundraising for my friend, Sharin Little. Following a routine colonoscopy, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, and further tests revealed that it had metastasized into her liver and lymph nodes. Sharin is currently undergoing chemotherapy at her beloved VA Hospital, where she was formerly a nurse for many years, and prior to that, a proud member of the U.S. Army.

Sharin has most recently been a nurse at Providence St. Vincent Hospital for five months, just one month shy of eligibility for disability/employment benefits. Hence, this plea for you to share what dollars you can with Sharin. She now faces mounting hospital and medical costs, as well as rent and living expenses, without an income.

This is a woman who has risen from the rubble of homelessness and despair. Over the last four years in sobriety, Sharin has diligently fought to regain her lost nursing license--and she has succeeded--one day at a time. Her dogged journey has been inspiring to her friends, and she is nothing short of a miracle. Won't you please consider sharing with Sharin?
