Sharon BuMann's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
On December 20th Sharon suffered a devastating stroke which left her with very limited speech and the inability to move the right side of her body. Her hospital stay was prolonged by many setbacks including pneumonia and a blood clotting disorder. She has finally made it to Rehab! Just in the past 2 weeks her speech has improved, she has been able to stand with the help of physical therapy, and we have seen very slight movements on her right side.
Insurance only completely covers 20 days, with that time coming to an end it is our hope to keep her rehabbing at least another month with the goal of getting her back home.
As many of you know, Sharon is tough as nails, if anyone can overcome this, it is her!
She would love to get back to seeing her 5 grandsons, her dog, Olivia, riding her road bike, working as a volunteer at Fort Brewerton, and of course SCULPTING!
Any donations will go directly towards paying for Sharon's recovery. Thank you for considering helping in her journey! Also, thank you so very much to all of the friends and family who have visited, sent cards, flowers, and well wishes, we are grateful for all of the support!
