Sharon Hairgrove Medical Event

This is Alicia Brandt and I am fundraising for Sharon Hairgrove. On Friday October 21st Sharon had a stoke. She is doing fine, she does not want anyone freaking out or worrying. She spent a couple days in the hospital and then over a week in rehab. She is expected to make a full recovery. She is just weak in some areas. Her left side was most affected. She is at home now resting and recovering. She is recieving home health care and physical therapy. She has the support of her son and his family who live at her home.

Sharon lives in an upstairs apartment.

She is in need of a chair lift. Her apartment is upstairs above a garage but she is unable to get up and down the stairs very well. Sharon also needs some medical devices installed in her home like some grab bars.

Many people have asked if there is anything they can do to let them know. She said there is not much others can do because she just needs to get stronger and well, however she mentioned getting a chair lift would be a gamechanger for her. Sharon is texting and typing a bit but using her phone and computer is a bit of a challenge at times.
