Sharon Maynard

Hi friends and family~

On Nov 15th- my Aunt Sharon- also known as Sheshe, or Maynard- had a stroke. Thankfully she was not alone and ems was callled immediately. She had an 80% blockage of her carotid artery in her neck. On Monday the 20th she had a Carotid endarterectomy- a surgery where they went into the artery and removed the blockage.

She is home now, recovering and in good spirits.

Unfortunately, as with any surgery- she is unable to work for a bit due to healing. A brief leave of work, along with the medical bills that she will be receiving can add more stress. I'm hoping with this fundraiser, that we can help alleviate a little bit of that for her.

My aunt has been a staple to more than just our family, but her school and work families as well. If you know her, you know that she has the biggest heart (and the loudest mouth )
