Sharon Wagner's Recovery Fund

On September 4, 2023, Sharon had a near fatal car accident. The first ten days in the hospital she was suffering from head trauma with severe brain bleed that has caused her to have memory loss and cognitive issues. She also is suffering with a broken back, broken ribs and sternum, they had to re-attach and re- build her unrecognizable left ankle, broke her tibia and fibula bones were snapped in half, so they had to put metal rods in her shin with a cross plate rod to support her ankle, that will hopefully allow her to be able to walk and step, broke her right ankle and fractured femur, and broke butt bone, her right hand was almost twisted off when she was thrown from the car, the seat belt tried to de-capitate her, punctured her lung, bruised kidney and other internal injuries.

Sharon was enroute to her new fixer-upper home that she had just closed on days before to spend her first night there when the accident happened. Due to Sharon's injuries she has a long recovery ahead, but she has immediate needs. Any monetary donations are needed desperately but she is also in dire need of front and back steps to access safely in and out of the home. Since this was a fixer upper that she was in the process of doing the improvements herself, but now she cannot for at least a year or so on her own.

Sharon is involved in many local causes like the annual toy run with Stitch of Southern Scooters or going around the block with Gloria on their motorcycles or many motorcycle events and fund raisers.

Those of you that know Sharon know that she has a love for animals, from her years of working with Ben Parker at Coast Veterinary Clinic, Palmetto Animal League, Hilton Head Animal Shelter, American Humane and Movie Animal Protection to name a few.
