Hi my name is Gwendolyn Bing , i am the daughter of Sharon Wilson . My mother was the nurse who sustained near fatal life threatening smoke inhalation and burns from an intentional fire set on early morning December 3,2022 while on duty at work as a nurse . My mother was the home care nurse for many years for the Drasher family who she considered her family as well . She’s the most selfless, caring , giving , hardworking person you will ever know . At 66 yrs young she devoted everyday to taking care of Olivia . It gave her joy and purpose on a daily basis to do what she loved and is passionate about ! Anyone who knows her would attest to this ! My mom is the matriarch of not just my family, but many others . She’s the go to for so many , young and old .My mother attempted to rescue Olivia while risking her life while the home was fully engulfed in flames .She ran up several flights of stairs to wake up other family members without even a thought of not doing so . For that she is my SHERO! She is recovering from burns and severe smoke inhalation in the burn Center at Crozier Hospital all while grieving the loss of Olivia , who was her baby ! Although she is expected to make a full physical recovery from her injuries in time , my HERO is emotionally shattered and will be out of work for some time . I would like along with anyone with a giving heart to make this process as stress free as possible . I’m grateful for all of the love and well wishes from everyone every single day .
