Help Mark Dunagan - Shattered Leg, Ankles and Feet

**Deep Breath* - Hello, My name is Kortney, I am Mark’s daughter. I’m emotional right now and have never actually been in a situation where the world flips upside down in seconds. Wow, seconds can change your entire life. I have never been a person to ask for help so I’m going to keep this short, just thinking of the need to do this has me shaking. So here it goes… I am here asking for family, friends, the community, and strangers to help my parents with medical bills and other bills right now. A few days ago, my dad fell off their roof 18+ feet and shattered his left lower leg, both ankles, and right heel bone. Thankfully alive, he was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center. They performed emergency surgery to repair his left leg and ankle. His right foot and ankle are too swollen to operate on and will require many surgeries to repair.

We don’t have all the details yet, but we know this will be a very long road to recovery. My dad operates a family-owned small business in El Dorado Hills and is the only provider for their household. Those who know our family knows the years of struggles my parents went through with Covid and taking care of my grandpa with Dementia full time. Grandpa passed away a few months ago. I don’t want to sit and share all our family details and turn this into a complete sob story because I know others are struggling as well. I would honestly just love to help my parents pay medical bills that will be pouring in and help them with some other bills while we try to get through his recovery. My mom will be taking care of him full-time.
