Shaun’s fight with MS

Hi guys for those who don’t know yet shaun woke up this past Saturday morning with no vision in his left eye. After numerous tests and rounds of steroids there’s still been no improvement and he’s still admitted at UVM medical center where he’ll have to stay for at least the next 10 days. He’s still waiting on some more tests to come back for confirmation but as of now they’re treating it as tho he has Neuromyelitis optica or NMO. Unfortunately, with no concrete diagnosis, or timetable on how long he’ll be in the hospital or without his sight, it looks like Shaun will be out of work for the foreseeable future. Melinda is also staying at the hospital with him because as you can imagine none of this would be fun to go through alone. I’m hoping we can help give them a little relief on some bills and let them focus on Shaun’s health without any added stress. Anything you can give is so greatly appreciated ❤️

Update 9/24: So over the last few days Shaun has undergone more tests and gotten more results back. He’s finally getting some answers but they’re unfortunately worse then originally thought. NMO has now officially been ruled out and drs are now saying he will likely be diagnosed with MS. We still aren’t sure of what form or it’s level of aggression. This has obviously come as a huge shock to both Shaun and melinda with it all being so sudden. They’re both so appreciative of anything anyone can give and we will continue to update everyone as more test results come back.
