Hello All,
On Thursday May 10th, 2018 - Shaun was traveling to work down Brookshire Freeway in Charlotte, NC on his motorcycle fully equipped with his helmet and body armor on. Before he knew it, he was struck by a vehicle that failed to yield to his right of way. Upon being struck by the vehicle, he flew onto the windshield of the car and flew off 43 feet.
Shaun suffered life-threatening injuries and was unresponsive at the scene. He was rushed to the CMC-Main hospital where he is currently in Surgical Trauma ICU fighting to recover from the accident. He suffered a dislocated pelvis, fractured femur, internal bleeding in the abdomen, broken shoulder blade, damage to the kidneys and a list of other substantial injuries. He has been through numerous of surgeries and treatment with an unknown amount to go. He is currently still in critical condition and has many hands of prayer, support and a magnitude of faith keeping him going.
Shaun serves in the Army National Guard as an Officer and has a 9 year old daughter that is unable to see him due to the circumstances. He is currently fighting his toughest battle and our family is generously asking for any donation or even a prayer (nothing is too big or small) to help be a resource to his recovery, medical treatment, and any other necessities that may be needed for his recovery.
