Shauna Curtis after serious car accident

Hi, my name is Bree and I’m making this for my mom Shauna who recently was in a terrible car accident. On Sunday, October 16th my mom got in a terrible accident on the highway. It was her, and my two other baby sisters Mack (5 years old) & Miya (9 years old). The truck flipped 3-4 times into a ditch. All 3 of them were trapped inside the truck upside down. Many people stopped and were able to rescue my sisters out of the truck. My mom on the other hand was still trapped in. A cop crawled in and held my moms hand until the ambulance got there. It took a long time for them to rescue my mom. They could tell her left arm took a lot of impact & suspected at least 2 fractures. My sisters, and her were transported to pontiac hospital in separate ambulances. My sisters suffered minor scratches. My mom had to have 2 surgeries on her arm. She ended up having compartment syndrome due to the impact from the accident which is extremely serious and could cause her to lose her arm or function in her arm. The first surgery was successful but her incisions were left open so swelling and pressure could decrease. She had her second surgery this morning Friday, October 21st to stitch up her arm. They had to use a skin graft from her thigh to close up her arm completely.

We are blessed that all 3 of them made it out of this accident alive. My mom debating making this, but she is a single mom with 2 little girls and she just lost her only source of transportation. Her recovery is a long journey and she will be off from work for awhile. Please donate whatever you can, so my mom can simply focus on healing physically, and mentally. As well as my sisters healing mentally since they have endured a very traumatic experience at a young age. Continue to pray for my mom, and my family as we work through these rough times.
