Shauns back surgery

Hello friends, if you know Shaun, you know he would not approve this asking for help if it wasn't absolutely necessary. 20 yrs of the Bering Sea, logging, oil field, and construction has finally taken its toll on his back. He has been down with debilitating pain since Feb 7th, not able to work and no certain answers when he would be able to return work. An MRI revealed a disc rupture at L4-L5 and an annular tear at L3-L4 causing severe pinching of siatic nerve and central stenosis. The only actual fix to this is a costly surgery, Until that can be done, he will try steroid spine injections that could return him to light duty and pain relief. The first injection is scheduled for March 3rd, no guarantee if it will be effective or for how long, each injection is $1200, all of this coming out of pocket. Hoping this will work until we can afford a scheduled surgery. Current resources are evaporating quickly. We are grateful for any help.
