Shave For Terry

We are all affected by cancer, some people more than others, but we are all affected in our own way. For me, I lost my second mother, my aunt Ingrid to it in 2018. She had fought and conquered stage 3 ovarian cancer, but it came back in 2017 and manifested its way through her body, settling in her intestines. She was the strongest fighter I knew, but unfortunately she passed away on June 28th, 2018
If there's one fighter in my family as strong as my aunt Ingrid, it would be my second father, my uncle Terry. Terry was diagnosed with stage three rectal cancer in 2016, and like Ingrid, beat it the first time around. In April of this year, we learned that Terry's cancer is metastatic, and that it's back in his lungs.
I have been growing my hair out for 25 months now (for no particular reason honestly, it just gives me an identity) and when I heard Terry's news, I wanted to do all I could to help... and I knew I could do it through my hair.
June 28th of this year will mark one full year since Ingrid passed away and my goal is to have $8,000 raised by that time to help Terry and his wife, my aunt Michelle with the next step in their battle with cancer. On the 28th, I will shave my head just like Terry. The money we raise will help send him to Dr. Issels Immuno-Oncology Treatment Center in Santa Barbara, California. Dr Christian N. Issels is the founder and head of this Medical Center and his treatment has lead to long-term remissions of many advanced cancers in the past. Losing Ingrid was a big loss for my family, and we feel that Santa Barbara is the best bet for Terry in avoiding the same fate.
Terry is a fighter. He's a warrior, a champion, and the kindest, most genuine uncle anyone could ever ask for. $8,000 will go a long way for him and our family in putting him on the right track to good health, we just need your help.
