Shawn Beals, U.S. Army Veteran, Funeral Expenses

Hi my name is Sheline McNair, sister to Shawn, I am doing this fundraiser for my brother to help with his funeral expenses. Shawn was a man of little means and lived very humbly; we as a family are seeking assistance to help in any way possible with his mortuary funeral expenses. As a veteran, he will be buried with honors at the Arizona National Cemetary.

Shawn Arlan Beals went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2023.

Shawn was born on September 15, 1964, in Oxnard, California. As a child, Shawn excelled in school and ran track on his school’s varsity team. He was an avid runner and loved to run long distance.

After graduating from High School, Shawn joined the US Army in 1983, where his specialty and expertise with chef skills later served him well as a sous chef with many high rating and well known resorts in the Arizona valley, such as the Scottsdale Princess, where he honed in on his skill and love of cooking different dishes for many people all over to enjoy. Shawn received an Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1986.

Shawn had such a beautiful heart and soul, he never knew a stranger, and could talk to anyone he came in contact with, and always made them feel comfortable. He had a smile so big and contagious, and had such a great sense of humor, and always made us laugh at family gatherings, he always saw the glass as half full.

We know that God is pleased to have one of His kind and generous angels back in his arms, where there will be a joyous reunion.
