Shawn Bogart Brain Tumor Fundraiser

Hello,

My name is April, I am friend of Tiffany and Shawn Bogart, and I am fundraising on their behalf.

On 2/12/2023 Shawn went into Boardman emergency room after suffering from an intense headache, along with left neck pain.

For the past few months he has had left neck pain, which has progressed into painful and debilitating headaches, dizziness/loss of balance and blurred vision.

Shawn has been to multiple urgent cares for his prior symptoms, without resolution as to why they were happening.

After an MRI on 2/12/2023, he finally got an answer.

They found a 4cm brain tumor, that is pushing into his brain stem and left ear drum. (We now know the hearing loss Shawn has had for the past few years can be attributed to this tumor.) He is now under the care of University Hospital in Cleveland, but will need an all day brain surgery to hopefully remove the tumor. Surgery date is TBD.

Due to Shawn's symptoms, the medical expenses involved in his care, his projected recovery time of maybe 6-8 weeks (this could be longer), missing work for Shawn and his wife Tiffany, I have created this fundraiser to help them.

They are both the most selfless people I know; and would do anything for their loved ones. I know they've been there for me countless times, and I'm sure you all have stories of them helping you as well.
