Shawn Gardners Accident Recovery Fund

Shawn Gardner is one of the most reliable friends that so many of us have come to know and love - whether it’s offering up his shop, knowledge, or a ride, he is the friend with follow-through, and now it’s time for all of us to show up for him.

This past week on March 16, 2023, Shawn fell prey to one of the worst parts of Southern California, our potholes. After being bucked off of his bike, Shawn slid down the freeway, breaking his left shoulder, suffering a spinal compression fracture, and multiple broken toes and fingers. He is scheduled to be on bed rest before and after his upcoming shoulder surgery and will need physical therapy afterward. Medical bills, repair bills, physical therapy bills, and loss of work costs are stacking up while he continues to heal.

Just days after his accident, Shawn is unsurprisingly in high spirits, like he usually is, and is taking his injuries in stride, but is still faced with multiple hurdles still to come. Every dollar raised will go directly to Shawn and his family to help fund any medical bills incurred by his accident which can include hospital bills, surgery, and/or physical therapy, and loss of work.

Shawn and his father co-own a Father & Son San Diego small business, and losing half of their workforce will be extremely difficult for them both. Our goal is to alleviate some of the stress caused by the accident, and support him financially through this campaign, sharing on your socials, or by donating directly to him.
