Hi my name is Shannon, my brother Shawn Welder passed away unexpectedly 11 June, 2022, he woke up in the early morning around 330, complaining of Chest Pains and called an Ambulance. Shawn was taken to Deaconess Midtown where life saving measures were used, unfortunately my brother lost his battle and was pronounced dead at 437 am. Shawn was a WARRIOR, he fought his way through life and in Death he still fought. Shawn left behind two Beautiful daughters, grandkids, sisters, brothers, friends & family. I'm hoping to raise the necessary funds to give my brother a proper burial and goodbye. The burden of his death is devastating to his daughters, the unexpected chaos that begins when a loved one passes is heartbreaking, but worrying about finances can make it hard to grieve. Times like this where you lose someone dear to you unexpectedly is not the time to worry about financing a funeral. Shawn was not a materialistic man, but we would love to be able to have a Celebration of Life Ceremony as well as cremation to bid him farewell surrounded by his loved ones. Any financial aid will be a blessing, if you are unable to help financially, please share this with your friends and family, also say a Prayer for Strength, Love & Support for the friends & family left behind. Shawn earned his wings and I’m certain he is soaring above us now, ever diligent in watching over us. His Celebration of Life will be held next week (date will be posted) at “The Refuge Christian Church”
