Hello, I'm Linda, a longtime friend of Shawn and Liz.

Over 28 years ago, our paths crossed when Liz and I were roommates, and Shawn, along with his good friend Shaun Knudsen (now my husband), moved into our building. Shawn and Liz's connection was instant, and they wasted no time building a beautiful life together.

Fast forward to their wedding day, just three months after they met, and now they are the proud parents of seven amazing children. Three daughters, Alex, Naomi, and Mary, have taken steps towards independence, while four boys, Levi, Luke, Hyrum, and Joseph, are still at home, filling the Setelin household with love and laughter.

Since the discovery of Shawn's brain tumor, the Setelin family has faced numerous challenges on this arduous journey. It's been heart-wrenching for all of us to witness Shawn's progression. Liz, ever faithful and cheerful, stands by his side, facing each hurdle with unwavering strength as not only his best friend but also his advocate.
