Shawn May - Medical Expenses

As many of you know, Shawn May of May Basses was severely injured, when an E-cigarette exploded in the pocket of his jeans, on October 30th.  Shawn sustained 3rd degree burns to his thigh, and needed surgery, as a result, as well as having to spend several days in the hospital.

This GoFundMe is set up to help Shawn with his medical and other expenses.

Shawn doesn't know what the total cost will be for his treatment, surgery and hospital stay yet, so I guessed-- probably too conservatively--what he might need.  Hopefully we can hit the mark.

Many of us know Shawn from Guitar Center Canton, MI. He was in the bass department there, for years, and is now a repair technician.  He also builds May Custom Basses, and is a great player, as well.  Shawn was unable to work for a considerable amount of time, so he took quite a hit financially.

Look, here's the thing: Anyone who knows Shawn knows he's a good guy.  If anyone deserves some help, with this seriously unfortunate  event, he does.

Please, if you can, in the spirit of giving,  let's give a good guy some help.  He can really use it.
