In Memory of Shawn Seesahai
Shawn Seesahai, a young student, was tragically killed in a knife crime by two twelve-year-old boys while in the UK seeking medical treatment. His family has spent their life savings and taken out a loan to repatriate his body, bury their son, and travel to the UK for the trial.
The Anguilla UK Representative Office, dedicated to advancing the interests of Anguilla and its community in partnership with the UK Government and other stakeholders, has been actively supporting the family throughout this deeply challenging time. Their efforts have included attending court proceedings and offering essential guidance to help the family navigate the complexities arising from this tragedy.
This fundraiser has been organised to help the family with the significant financial burden they have faced. Once the funds are withdrawn, they will be transferred via bank transfer directly to Shawn’s parents, Suresh and Maneshwary Seesahai, who reside in Anguilla. Unfortunately, the family cannot receive the funds directly through GoFundMe as they do not have a UK bank account.
We hope this GoFundMe campaign will help ease the financial strain on Shawn’s family as they continue to endure this unimaginable loss. Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting Shawn’s family during this difficult time.
