Shawn & The Spangler Family - Sudden passing of Shawn.

Hello my name is Erin, friend and neighbour of Jodi and the Spangler Family.

Approximately two years ago, we were lucky enough to have the Spangler clan move in next door. With 8 kids and a split/but dedicated co-parenting team, the kids spent their time between Bagdad (Dad) and Kempton (Mum).

The family settled in, and Cammie, the youngest daughter, quickly became a firm fixture in our own daughters life.

Our love of books bought Jodi and I together, and the rest of the kids quickly made friends with our son and the rest of Kempton.

Today, we are beyond heartbroken to share the news that in a freak accident, Shawn suddenly lost his life, 8 children lost their incredible father and Jodi lost the other half of her parenting team.

This horrific news comes just months after their son suffered his own medical episode which has left him recovering but still in hospital with mounting stress and bills to pay.

As with many accidents, this situation puts a huge financial stress on this amazing family that makes the emotional stress even worse and nearly unbearable.

This GofundMe is being started with the permission of Jodi and all funds with directly go to funeral costs, medical costs and whatever else is needed to help the family through this incredibly horrific time.
