Shawn Tyler

We can not put into words our new reality.

On April 2nd we received a phone call to inform us Shawn is no longer with us.

Shawn died at the hands of another because of mental illness.

A life taken before he could even begin to realize his life goals, Shawn had the inspiration of his mother Kris to think of others before himself & to reach into the stars. He could have achieved whatever he wanted in life. Unfortunately the unconscionable has occurred.

We now grieve as a family and begin to answer the why.

There is an underlying evil in this country when it comes to mental health.

We will begin the venture of helping fill this great void with exposure to mental health

to help prevent something like this from happening to anyone's child.

We are willing to partner with any like-minded partners as we as a collective will be the only way to make a change!

We will use these funds to make sure Shawn's life will live on forever and create a foundation in his name. One of the first things on the agenda will be to start a scholarship in his name for a student to receive at his high school in Lockport, NY.
