Shawnae Thru-Hike’s the Appalachian Trail

Hi, my name is Shawnae Holliday, and this upcoming March 2024 I plan to embark on a long distance hike of the Appalachian Trail (AT) from Georgia to Maine. The AT takes an average of 6 months to thru-hike. My plan is to hike all 2,190 + miles in 4 1/2 months. This has been a goal of mine for a long time and I’m in a state where it’s accessible for me both mentally and physically to do. I’m grateful for all who decide to donate. The money will be put towards gear repairs or replacements, any lodging I will be doing along the way, and any shuttles to and from the trail to towns for chores (i.e. resupplies and laundry).
