Always Loved, Never Forgotten

Shawnna has been fighting this atrocious disease beginning May 2022. What started as a routine checkup with her OBGYN soon turned into a fight for life against one of the worst enemies we could have encountered. Shawnna was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May of 2022. She gave everything she had to rid her body of the terrible sickness that had taken over; unfortunately, the symptoms worsened, and the malignancy quickly overcame her.

Every doctor/specialist/cancer expert we had seen expressed the likelihood of overcoming this sickness, as she reacted exponentially better to the treatment than expected. We truly believed she had every fighting chance to win.

As with any severe disease treatment, the medical bills have begun piling up. We have been attempting to keep our heads above water, however finances have started dwindling.

Before treatment began, we were working towards finalizing the adoption papers for me to become our son's father legally. Unfortunately, we cannot continue further as we have been and need legal assistance to mitigate his well-being.

I want to ensure my son's future; fulfill the legacy mom wanted, but am needing support through this endeavor. It is a costly scenario that we were not expecting to happen.

Her son, my daughter, and Shawnna's mother will appreciate any financial offerings and support.
