Shawn’s GBS Recovery
Donation protected
On October 9th, Shawn was admitted to the ICU. She was numb all over and could not walk. Following extensive testing, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome on the evening of October 12th and put on a respirator. GBS is a condition in which the immune system attacks the peripheral nerves of the body. After nearly three weeks Shawn has been released from the ICU but still has a long road of recovery ahead of her, working with a team of therapists to get her back up and running. I have started this GoFundMe to help take some financial stress off of Shawn and her family so that she can focus on resting and healing. Please donate whatever you can. Shawn is important to so many of us and I know we can’t wait to see her at 100% again.
