Shawn’s GBS Recovery

On October 9th, Shawn was admitted to the ICU. She was numb all over and could not walk. Following extensive testing, she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome on the evening of October 12th and put on a respirator. GBS is a condition in which the immune system attacks the peripheral nerves of the body. After nearly three weeks Shawn has been released from the ICU but still has a long road of recovery ahead of her, working with a team of therapists to get her back up and running. I have started this GoFundMe to help take some financial stress off of Shawn and her family so that she can focus on resting and healing. Please donate whatever you can.
