Shayna's Endo Surgery

Hi! My name is Lauren Powell, and I am fundraising for Shayna's Endometriosis surgery! Shayna has been in so much pain for a long time and is finally getting the chance to have the pain stop!

 

At age 36 Shayna had a partial hysterectomy due to endometriosis. They took out everything except ovaries. She had a lot of endometriosis when they opened her up. Fast forward to age 43, again having painful cramps for about the past 10 or so months. She finally gave in and went to the doctor, and tried a few things that were unsuccessful. The doctor and her agreed that it was time to take out ovaries, scar tissue, and "new" endometriosis.

She will be off of work for at least 2 weeks and won't be able to do Instacart for at least a month since she wont be able to lift more than 5 lbs for a while. So, she will be losing pay by not working the evening shift and not working extra.
